I see the following in one of AWR reports :

Instance Activity Stats - Absolute Values

• Statistics with absolute values (should not be diffed)

What should I understand from the above...what is the significance of Begin value and End values in the above table.  

Where can I find the definitions of each of these statitics.  

If someone can help me explain .
