I have noticed that AWR reports in 11g are providing many more things such as in the header section of report it shows -
CPU information - that includes core cpu, number of cpu, number of sockets. I am wondering what could be the purpose of giving the number of sockets data in AWR.
Is it any way useful , it is nice to know but is there anyway we can utilize this data to analyze these reports better.
Kindly share your thoughts.
Thanks
