Build the cluster out of legos and load each up with 1.9 TB of ram and run everything in memory eliminating all physical I/O. Throw in 500 TB of ssd based storage and a nuclear power plant to power it and you are good to go. Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry

Actually, a 100node RAC would have a massive overhead in cluster administration and would almost certainly be slower than a smaller RAC environment...

On the other hand... it might be faster than VMWare ;-) Alan.-
