Is anyone out there using Oracle 10g Express 10.2.0.1 on Linux to act as a RMAN repository to back updatabases. Can this be done? What are the disadvantages?

Am currently working in an organisation that dosn't want to spend any money on acquiring a new license for Oracle Enterprise Edition to act as an RMAN repository to backup their client databases.

TIA
