You should follow the supported configurations and have exactly one instance of ASM per node. Multiple databases can use the same ASM instance so there no need to run more than one. Also, ASM/clusterware can support any version of the database equal to or less than its version, so 11.1.0.7 ASM/clusterware supports a 10.2.0.4 database.
