11GR2 documentation lists 2.5GB minimum for Grid Infrastructure plus RAC.

I was able to install it on a VMs with 2GB each but with 1.5GB the VMs were swapping like crazy (x64). If you plan on each user having it's own two node cluster to play with then every user should get at least 4GB of RAM so for ten users box you're in a ballpark of around 48GB (accounting for the OS itself and iSCSI target server).
