Re: OEM and standby databases
I use Oracle Grid Control and the database has a status of "UP" and just a warning that it is "mounted".
Status Up Up Since Jun 11, 2009 10:37:51 PM EDT Instance Name webdb1 Version 10.2.0.4.0

Ok this is going to seem like trivial garbage BUT, in OEM 10.2.0.4, the standby database being administered by data guard broker always shows up as "DOWN" on the main screen, since its in mount mode and doing apply of info from the primary.
How does everyone else deal with this, when we get reports about databases down, do you just put it in blackout mode, or tweak some setting in OEM.
