A small correction,  

I mixed up a level bit for systemstate dump. Systemstate dump at level 266
(256 + 10) will dump the short stacks of processes, I initially wrote 522
(512 + 10) but thats wrong.

about this. 

 

One correction though to your statement ".but you don't necessarily know
when, why and by which statement these locks were taken for.". 

The lmd0 trace files do show the statements involved in the deadlock. Maybe
I'm misunderstanding your statement.
