Our method of tape backup is we write the backups to disk and then they get
picked up by the tape backup job. This method isn't going to change in our
organization. If I use ASM and flash_recovery_area I believe my only option
for tape backup is to put the FRA on a regular file system. Is this my only
option? I know I can backup the FRA but this seems like overkill and
something I wouldn't want to recover from.
Thanks
Mike
