Re: Using 10gR2 as a 'document repository'

Why would you expose the database as a Windows Share? Are you going to store these in the database or externally? Have a directory for them to put the files. You move them once they're there for upload, indexing, whatever.

I presume you have some plan for them to retrieve the data?
