I can only wholeheartedly second that opinion. All good (red) meat. No Fluff.

Of course, depending on your target platform, Julian Dyke's "Pro Oracle Database 10g RAC on Linux" is excellent too. It's about 4 times the thickness of Gopal's book so it takes much longer to digest.
