Our UNIX System Administrator told me Redhat RHEL X86_64 O.S. include both X86 and X86_64 library. we can run 32 bits application under 64 bits LInux.
I just want clearify does 32 bits ORACLE database (X86 version) can run under 64 Bits Redhat AS 4.X or 5.X or not (RHEL X86_64 version)?
I remember some time ago I saw ORACLE document say "32 bits ORACLE database run under 64 bits Linux is NOT support".
Is it still true?
Thanks.
