Anyone work with DB2 and know if they have wait events?
I'm looking into doing monitoring across databases and have found wait
states similar to Oracle on SQL Server and Sybase, but on DB2, which I
though would be the most instramented, I only find process state such
as (sort of like time model in 10g or more closely the new state
fields in ASH in 11g)
Fetch
Cursor
Execution
Operation
Transaction
Connectivity
and not wait such as
I/O
Lock
CPU
which are available across Oracle, SQL Server and Sybase.
