There is a default value specfied in the ddl script. That what it is. But it is the same default value. And the char sets are the same. thanks.

Are the character sets the same on both databases?

How can the same table in two different databases have a differentDEFAULT_LENGTH  for the DATE datatype? One database is dev and the otheris UAT.
