It is good to stop it if there is only one database on that server. However, I don't think this should matter as it resides out of Oracle9i home.

I have Grid Control 10.2 agent running on a server. Now getting ready to upgrade one of the 9i databases on that server. Should I stop Grid Control agent before starting the upgrade?
