Implementation of RAC on single machine

Hello All,

Good Morning! to every one hope every one is doing good.

I have an question. Recently i have learned how to implement oracle 10g RAC on two machine and firewire as storing media. Is it possible to implement RAC on a single machine i dont have any idea regarding that. Waiting for your valuable suggestions.
