XDB service name

 I have installed XDB ( Oracle XML Database ) and XML database ( Oracle xdk ) into my Oracle 10.2.0.3.0 database on AIX. They are both VALID in the registry. I am on port 1521 for the listener. The string "dispatchers = (PROTOCOL=TCP)($ORACLE_SID}XDB) " is in my spfile.  

I can't get the ${ORACLE_SID}XDB to register with my listener. I had no problem with this in 9iRel2.  

Has anybody had this problem before?
