This kind of depends on how well you work with your TSM administrator and server administrator. You need to have root(*NIX) to do the install. It's pretty straightforward though and as Dan pointed out, there are some file permissions that need to be changed so the oracle user can write to them. In particular the tdpoerror.log and the inclexcl.ora file.

If you're using lanfree there are some additional steps. I'll send you a document I made up for myself that I use - it's AIX and TDPO.
