DBA Opening - Northwest US

Regence is a Northwest based medical insurance company. It has offices in Seattle, Portland, Salt Lake City and Lewiston, ID.

We are looking for an experienced Oracle DBA. The DBA could work from any of the office locations. Although Lewiston is not too likely unless you are living there already. The database environment includes 10g, 9i and some left over 8i in addition to some SQL Server and Sybase. The majority of the databases are on AIX with a bit of Solaris and Linux for RAC. We have an on call rotation that you would expect to find in any 7x24 shop.

The IT organization is adopting ITIL-like practices. It is a large organization with the usual change management and deployment processes found in large shops.

In the spirit of full disclosure, I like working for Regence but it does take some patience with the processes. DBA turn over is quite low.
