Direct IO

Hi,

Just curious if anyone out there has changed to direct IO? If so, can you spare a moment to provide your take on the following questions that would be great:

What type of application do you support? (OLTP, EBS, warehouse, etc..)
What kind of tests did you perform to determine if there was a benefit?
What kind of analysis did you perform after the change in production to see if the effect was positive/negative?
Was there a benefit?
