Personally...I see no point in making use of this feature. It's my understanding that oracle just sets up parent-child relationship behind the scenes anyways.

I don't get the impression that very many people use this.

Any one out there a heavy user of oracle nested tables? I am looking for
the top reasons to use them or to stay away from them.

They look like an effective way to model many to many relationships but I
have not used them before.
