The political answer is it depends, The technical answer is It is plain WRONG. I may agree with it is 16times faster and uses 50% less energy. But comaring with the TCO of flash drives, I would take the energy factor out of equation.
BTW check Kevin Closson's blog. I remember seeing some of his good work on the Log Writer performance and you will understand why this flash thingy's claims are plain WRONG in the RamSAN case.
