Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> RE: 10.2.0.3 upgrade on aix 5l 5.3 anyone?
I will be doing this shortly, upgrade from 10.2.0.1 to 10.2.0.3 (RAC).
I would suggest running CLU or RDA and checking for PTF's for Java and
proper Java version.

Subject: 10.2.0.3 upgrade on aix 5l 5.3 anyone?
has anyone had any problems with this upgrade hanging on the last section, when it is running the Configuration Assistant and the Oneoff Patch Application?
been trying to upgrade our 10.2.0.2 on aix5l, 5.3 release, to 10.2.0.3.
the upgrade keeps hanging with CPU flat out on two java (what else...) processes, during that last bit.
Any way to bypass this? Metalick has one open problem with exactly this and no solution other than some badly documented and confusing workaround using opatch. fairly recent too. wonder if the patch download has been changed recently...
