Hi,
I'm an Oracle certified DBA and want to upgrade myself to 10G. Now, I absolutely don't want to start climbing up the ladder by upgrading to 8i then 9i and then 10G. (three exams)
There is a paper available for upgrade to 9i for Oracle 8 OCPs (1z0-035) which would lead me to Oracle 9i and then I can take upgrade paper to 10G (two exams).
Another way is to stop attempting the upgrades, rather go directly to 10G OCP papers, Admin I and Admin II. (two exams). But the problem here is this that it requires an instructor-led training program to be an OCP which I cant afford myself and my company would not send me for the same atleast this year.
Is there any better suggestion or input from anyone as to which path would lead me to Oracle 10G more conveniently?
Thanks.
