Log on as SYS and run this.

EXEC DBMS_XDB.SETHTTPPORT(0);   This won’t “stop” XDB but it should eliminate the connection.

Subject: Oracle 10 listener and XDB

When I start the oracle 10 listener it shows an XDB service running.

I don't want it running and I am sure in previous versions I just removed the entry from listener.ora.

However I see no XDB service in the listener.ora or tnsnames.ora files

Is this working differently in Oracle 10? How do I stop XDB?

John
