Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> RE: 10.2.0.3
I think I found the one you were talking about -
Doc ID: Note:412271.1 Subject: ORA-600 [22635] and ORA-600 [KOKEIIX1] Reported WhileUpgrading Or Patching Databases To 10.2.0.3
Now it occurs to me that I'd already seen this one before - this is the same issue I had provided as an example a few weeks ago in the discussion of upgrade via dbua vs. exp/imp.
Please let us know if there are any other issues you were referring to specifically with 32-bit > 64-bit 10.2.0.3 upgrades.
Thanks,
Brandon

Subject: RE: 10.2.0.3
Thanks for the heads-up Connor, but could you please provide more detail? I searched Metalink and checked the note for 10.2.0.3 Alerts & Known Issues (401435.1), but I couldn't find anything about 10.2.0.3 upgrades and 32>64-bit migration. I'm planning on just such an upgrade very soon so I'm very concerned about any potential issues. Could you please provide the relevant bug, patch or note numbers?
Thanks,
Brandon

There's been a fair bit of press about 10.2.0.3 upgrade going belly up when going to 32 to 64bit.
There's patches now for this problem on metalink.
