listener error

Hi Team,    

  When i am doing the lsnrctl stauts listener_9i it is throwing error like:    

  Connecting to (ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=IPC)(KEY=EXTPROC)) TNS-12541: TNS:no listener
 TNS-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
  TNS-00511: No listener
   Solaris Error: 2: No such file or directory Connecting to (ADDRESS=(COMMUNITY=TCP.us.com)(PROTOCOL=TCP)(Host=nad1a)(Port=1521)(QUEUESIZE=50))        

  however, it is showing the stauts perfectly. also the lisetenre is working perfectly.        

  Any specific reason for this error.    

  Any help is greatly appreciated.
