Re: "gc buffer busy" wait Cause ?

Treat GC buffer busy as normal buffer busy wait event. If you have my OWI/RAC book there are some scripts the book and you can find the system calls causing the buffer busy wait .

Or look at the segment statistics and see the segments/object responsible for those waits. It would be pretty simple once you get the culprit objects.
