ora-1031

Hi folks,

I have created an auxiliary instance. And I am trying to test net connection for RMAN to duplicate.

I created password file using orapwd on auxiliary, and set remote_login_passwordfile='EXCLUSIVE'. And I also added entries in listener.ora

I have started the auxiliary instance in NOMOUNT mode. When I try to connect this auxiliary instance from different host, I got ORA-01031 error.

oracle_at_apc:sqlplus "sys/abc_at_AUXI_BOHR as sysdba"

SQL*Plus: Release 10.2.0.2.0 - Production on Mon Mar 12 16:55:27 2007

ERROR:
ORA-01031: insufficient privileges

In target's tnsnames.ora, I kept SID entry.
