Most likely you might have already taken care of this, but just wanted to make sure, have added the following entries in your /etc/modprobe.conf on both the nodes:
Options sbp2 exclusive_login=0.
Also, do you have the firewire hard drive/enclosure with the right chip set (Oxford911...) and did you check dmesg |grep sbp2 to see what it is complaining about.

Anyone else on the list working the personal RAC project? I am running into a problem with the firewire drive. It appears that I can only connect one server at a time to the drive. As soon as I connect the second, both connections disappear (From fdisk -l). Is this likely to be a problem with the firewire cards, or the firewire drive? Do you suppose I could fix it by getting a firewire hub?
Or maybe I'll just try and find a cheap nas drive...
