I use SQL Developer with an extension (also avalable from the OTN site) to
display Oracle error messages.
Not quite as clean, but it seems to work pretty well.

Subject
oerr for Windows
I?m working in a Windows shop for awhile, and I sorely miss being able to type ?oerr ora 1555? at the command line and get a quick blurb about the error message. Has anyone found a replacement for this that doesn?t involved looking things up in documentation files?
Thanks
Rich
