There is a mandatory patch for Solaris on 10.2.0.2, 5117016
We had all kinds of performance issues going from 8.1.7.4 to 9.2.0.6. on hp-ux.

Subject: Upgrade to 10G from 9.2.0.7
We are planning on upgrading our databases from 9i to 10G and we'd like to hear from people who have gone through this process.
What release of 10G are you on?
Are there any performance issues?
Any other issues/bugs to worry about?
Is 10G at a state in which it is safe to upgrade our production
databases?
We have all our databases on Unix, Solaris 8, 9, and 10. Planning on upgrading all servers to Solaris 10. We have one datawarehouse database and some oltp databases.
Our developers use mainly PLSql Developer.
Any information will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
