Thanks for the email, We are in process of deploying on this new
hardware and it is always good to know the max that we can go or
recommended to go and this was just an starting config, all the
parameters will be setup on all the factors you mentioned and the
application design itself.

Don and Harvinder, I recommend you both take a look at v$db_cache_advice, your wait events (from statspack, AWR, or v$session_event and v$system_event) and even the old buffer hit ratio and then after taking all that into account, make an informed decision based on your findings rather than sizing your SGA/buffer cache based on how much RAM you have. The question asked is analagous to asking:
"My car can go 180mph, how fast should I drive?"
