Actually, in version 10, you can not select from the dictionary tables
with "SELECT ANY TABLE". You also need "SELECT ANY DICTIONARY".
In version 10, the phrase "any table" doesn't include the dictionary tables.

Yes, I think that is the definition of select any table. You can select on any table or view in the database.
