There's a rather old joke, that I doubt I'll totally remember but here
goes anyway:
In 2010 an old Cobol programmer finally gives into the cancer that has been plaguing him for years. After what appears to be a good nights sleep he's awakened by a light shining in his face. He opens his eyes to see these people looking at him. He asks, "Is this heaven?" to which one of the individuals replies " No it's the year 2995 and we understand you know this language called Cobol".
