I believe posting to multiple lists is bad form. How are individuals in
each list supposed to follow the thread. This is as much about readers
as inquirers.
Is your SMTP server on the same machine?

Subject: DB Control not sending mail until server bounces
I have an instance of 10.1.0.3 on Windows 2003 server. I set up DB Control and have been troubleshooting on why the notifications are not sending email, as well as working with Oracle.
We accidently crashed Tuesday and when the server came up, I received all of my 25 to 30 notices thru email. Same thing Thursday night when we had to physically bring the box down.
Any idea why this would be happening or other thoughts to troubleshoot to fix?
Thanks -
Dianna G.
