This is the case since 7.2 or 7.3 or so..everytime you start the installer to install new stuff, it proposes a new oracle_home. just FYI. There is a file called 'oracle.key' in the \bin directory that points to the registry key belonging to that \bin directory.. regards, Mario ----- Original Message ---- From: Wolfgang Breitling <breitliw@centrexcc.com> To: jkstill@gmail.com; JBECKSTROM@gcrta.org Cc: oracle-l@freelists.org Sent: Thursday, November 30, 2006 1:10:32 PM Subject: RE: multiple 10g versions on windows AFAIK you can have any number of Oracle 8i, 9i, 10g homes on Windows. I have for certain an 8.1.7.4, a 9.2.0.4, a 9.2.0.7, a 10.1.0.5 and a 10.2.0.2 home and database running on a Win2000 AS OS. My registry shows: KEY_OraClient10g_home1 KEY_OraDb10g_home1 The OraDb10G_home1 directory shows the two databases I have created.
