Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> Oracle Announces The Same Enterprise Class Support For Linux As For Its Database
Hey all,
What does this mean for small shops that want to run Enterpise Oracle on Linux?
We have downsized and our President is thinking of moving off of Oracle to EnterpirseDB to save $$$.
I am wondering how much it really costs now to bring up a Oracle Enterprise solution on Linux...
Any ideas for someone who wants to stay on Oracle?

"Oracle starts with Red Hat Linux, removes Red Hat trademarks, and then adds Linux bug fixes."
Sounds like Mandrake Linux 5.2.
