Hello all,
I'm trying to apply this patch which the vendor recommends and I get this error on opatch:
The following warnings has happened during OPatch execution:
: warning: the `gets' function is dangerous and should not be used.
/usr/bin/ld: warning: i386 architecture of input file

I've never had this happen before. This is a linux box but could it be the wrong version of the patch? How can I tell what version the server is? I'm new to the company and not getting much from the other admins.
ciao,
Brian
