Snapshot too old

I've been noticing "ORA-01555 caused by SQL statement below (Query Duration=33219 sec, SCN: 0x0000.5c80a509): "

i changed undo_retention 16000 and undo tablespace is having enough space. Any suggestions are welcome.
The table which we are running is having 39 millions of records. Thx
