Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> Core dump while applying Patchset 10.2.0.2 in Java Class AQOracleAdmin
Sorry about the previous E-Mail - it's incomplete, Gmail's keyboard
shortcuts were a bit too efficient :)
Hi List,
YACD - yet another core dump - in 10.2.0.2
This time Oracle crashes on me while applying the 10.2.0.2 Patchset in a database with the following components:
sys_at_TP> @comp
COMP_NAME VERSION STATUS
----------------------------------- ------------------------------
-----------
Oracle Application Express 2.2.0.00.32 VALID Oracle XML Database 10.2.0.1.0 VALID Oracle Text 10.2.0.1.0 VALID Oracle Database Catalog Views 10.2.0.2.0 VALID Oracle Database Packages and Types 10.2.0.2.0 VALID Oracle XDK 10.2.0.2.0 VALID JServer JAVA Virtual Machine 10.2.0.2.0 VALID Oracle Database Java Packages 10.2.0.1.0 LOADING
8 rows selected.
Apparently the crash happens while loading Oracle Database Java Packages. Further investigation shows that it happens during
ALTER JAVA CLASS "SYS"."oracle/AQ/AQOracleAdmin" RESOLVE
What seems odd to me (as I've never seen it before) is the arguments of the ORA-7445: 002A54F7 SIGBUG Non-existent physical address 0xB0AA7AD0
If anyone could shed some light on this, as I open my (3rd) SR about core dumps in 10.2.0.2 I'd appreciate it
Stefan
