Hi,
My scenario is:

Duplicated a 9.2.0.6 database to a server running a Oracle home patched up to 9.2.0.7.

Now, assuming I could not access the source, how would I find out the original version of the database?
I tried the dbms_utility.db_version, but that reported 9.2.0.7.0 So is there a way to find out the version of the database, as opposed to the version of the instance being used to connect to it?

Regards

Pete
