I got quite a few user for Smenu who accesses their production site through laptop/mobile phone when on call outside home (say no ADSL). The main reason is that smenu being a korn shell application, it is low bandwith consumption. On a 57k bauds it is much appreciated. They use the command like unix shortcuts and filter the excess of data with 'grep' what ever, and it is fast and efficient.

Thanks for the reply. I also have scripts running and pages currently sent to me, but I'm looking at software like Mobile-dba or Expand Beyond PocketDBA so that I can monitor Oracle
on a Blackberry if I'm out of the office. I was wondering if anyone else did this or had any comments or thoughts.

Thanks.
