Do you have a "rule of thumb" for how much of the RAM you use for the SGA?
Sure, that's possible, though at the low end. I used to run a 7.3.2 database on an old laptop that had only 32MB total RAM and I think I ran it with a 4MB SGA. I didn't need a big Buffer Cache or Shared Pool. You could make it run pretty lean.

That’s right it is 5MB. Can a instance run with 5mb of SGA? Or is the dictionary table giving me the wrong info or Am I missing something here?
