I know it shouldn't be larger than that, but I've seen shared pool miscellaneous grow to values bigger than my physical memory (on 9205) so I'm perfectly prepared to accept an accounting error here.
Unless v$sga is lying to me, the apparent value for ASM extent pointer array is bigger than my SGA.

Hold it, I made the speed-reading mistake here. Your queries of gv$sgastat threw me. The extent array is in the shared pool so it can't be larger than that.
