ORACLE DBA - Salary: $95,000 - $110,000 range

Location: Boston, MA (Local Candidates Preferred)

Boston client has a fulltime opening for an ORACLE database administrator. In this position, the selected candidate would support databases for an Accounting Data Warehouse. The technologies in the environments to be supported include ORACLE, ORACLE 9i, ORACLE 10G (single node and RAC), and Dataguard. The position requires implementing and supporting high performance, continuous availability database solutions. The selected candidate must have skills in the areas of warehouse design, performance troubleshooting, database query optimization, database implementation and administration for this position. You will be part of a team that provides 7x24 database production support and off hours development/QA support on a planned/need basis.

The requirements for this position include: 5+ years DBA experience with ORACLE; working experience with large databases and/or Data Warehouses; experience in supporting database requirements throughout the SDLC; skills in OLAP and business intelligence; experience with OEM, Quest performance tools, Erwin design tools and ETL tools; and any other RDBMS experience would be a plus.
