Coming back to this one a bit late but I couldn't resist to add... People never (sorry, hardly ever) see occasional / seemingly random performance improvements but spot degradation right away. Apparently, it's common to believe that systems should just go better and better on their own and upgrading to a newer version must definitely make everything run faster. Isn't it logical? ;-)
