I don't mean to pick apart your email, but a NUMAQ-2000 with 4 CPUs actually is not NUMA. That is the base building block which is just a 4 CPU box. The system is not a NUMA until you stick an OBIC (510 pin Ga ASIC)/SCSLIC card on the bus.

You did say it was a 4 CPU box, right ?

You are talking about a SCSI channel, right ?
