Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> Audit Unique User IDs with Connection Pooling
We are using WebSphere for the application server and
Hibernate for connection pooling. The applications
are written in java.
One of the problems with this configuration is that the users authenticate to the application and are then connected to the database from an application account. Auditing this database is useless because we really have know idea who is doing what. It is all through the application.
Has anyone had any experience using connection pooling and actual Oracle user authentication to the database?
