Re: Duplicate production RAC to a staging/test RAC

Well,
If you can't 'stop' the production db (or put it in begin backup state), you can try to:

1. create db on second platform (as a RAC db),
2. use datapump, (via dblink or going through files), to import data from production db

if you can stop the db, use rman to backup/restore
